The camper is here and the mods have begun. A big selling point for us on the FWC was the ability to have a ready-to-go camper that could be loaded and unloaded quickly. Maintaining the utility of our truck for the weekday grind. I found out pretty quickly that the nuisance of taking the camper on and off wasn’t the camper – but removing and installing the jacks.
For less than a cup of coffee, I procured some 3/8″ jam nuts at the local hardware store. This allows the bolts to remain in the jack brackets all the time. Installing means removing the nuts, and slipping the jacks onto the installed bolts. Much easier and faster. Any questions, let me know!
