Born to Run by Christopher McDougall

I realize I’m late to read Born to Run by Christopher McDougall — and a market laggard to join the “natural/minimalist running” movement (which is on the way down and out as an industry trend); however, I couldn’t be more glad to have taken the time to devour the book. It reads like a fiction story — with characters and narrative so exciting and interesting it’s hard to believe it’s real.

McDougall carries the reader along for the ride with asides of science, studies, findings, and tales to support what in recent history has become the new normal. My recommendation? Read it.

If you have any interest in exciting outdoor adventure tales? Read it. Any foot, joint or back problems? Read it. Any interest in running or the idea of running? Read it.
